Very nifty tool. When I started looking all I new is I want an emerald cut, but for some reason all of the ECs I saw were somewhat...uncomplicated. That didn't work for me and I had actually already had my jeweler on standby, to have a setting custom built (which would have cost me $450 for the design, another $300 for casting and after some other fees, the total cost would have been over $1,900 including labor, JUST FOR THE SETTING). Then I found this tool, chose my emerald cut center diamond, chose a 14k white gold metal, a curved and split shank, Spectra (Victoria was too antique for me) and roughly 10 days later I had exactly what I wanted. I do wish there were more options, but Encore told me that their next version will, so I recommend checking it out.
